Founded on November 12, 1991, Pizz'A Chicago was born from a simple conviction: Santa Clara deserved authentic Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Two passionate Chicagoans — Theo Reynolds and Art Harris — left the Windy City to make it happen. Their very first customer, country music legend Glen Campbell, walked through the door at 2:00 PM on opening day — and the restaurant has never looked back. Over three and a half decades later, Pizz'A Chicago remains family-owned, made from scratch every day, and voted the best pizza in Santa Clara County by the community it serves.
We use the same recipes, techniques, and spirit that define Chicago-style pizza. Our deep-dish is baked in a seasoned pan with a thick, buttery crust — cheese first, then toppings, then chunky tomato sauce on top. 30–45 minutes in the oven. Nothing rushed, nothing compromised.
Every pizza, calzone, pasta dish, and salad is prepared fresh daily. We do not use pre-made bases or frozen shortcuts. Our dough is made in-house, our sauces are homemade, and our meatballs are crafted from scratch — the same way since 1991.
